This Upcoming Week

Okay, I must admit it….*sigh*…. this last week I have been slacking. ¬†ūüė¶ ¬†I have had a few physical and emotional setbacks this past week, but the wonderful thing is that last week is over. ¬†This is the beginning of ¬†a brand new week and I am looking forward to what it holds for me!

This morning I woke up, rolled out of my nice warm bed, rubbed the sleep out of my eyes (not willingly) and dressed for my morning run. ¬†I’ve been needing a little alone time and needed to run to clear my head of things. ¬†I had grand ideas of smashing my previous personal distance record and running my best run yet… well this picture shows how well my run went….

 

Not so great. ¬†I guess taking a week off wasn’t such a marvelous idea. ¬†I did manage 2 1/2 miles but they were far from the best ones I’ve done… I felt like my body was sweating out noodles from the previous night’s dinner. ¬†Note to self, focus on eating better this week!!

  • Sunday: 2 1/2 mile run, TurboFire Abs 10
  • Monday: 2 1/2 mile run, ChaLEAN Extreme Burn Circuit 3
  • Tuesday: TF HIIT, swim/kayak (hopefully!)
  • Wednesday: 30 min hills, TF Abs 10
  • Thursday: 3 mile run, CLX Burn Circuit 1
  • Friday: REST!
  • Saturday: 4 mile run, CLX Burn Circuit 2

Farmer’s Market Time

This morning was our family run day. ¬†We do short runs with K (4) in her single jogging stroller and M (2) and R (7 months) in a double jogging stroller. ¬†Miki and I took turns pushing each stroller. ¬†We have gotten so used to running without the strollers that pushing them kicked our butts! ¬†It felt like pushing the strollers through sand, but the resistance will only make us stronger in the end. ¬†We didn’t run far, only 1.8 miles but at least we were moving!

K went to preschool and I took the youngest two to a local river to swim with friends.  It was during lunch time so I decided to switch up my Shakeology today.  One scoop Chocolate Shakeology, one cup Almond Milk, a handful of frozen strawberries, a handful of frozen blueberries, and a teaspoon of natural peanut butter.  Yuuuummm!

After the swim we picked up K from her summer camp and went to the Farmer’s Market. ¬†I had forgotten that the Farmer’s Market was on Thursdays so ¬†I have been buying fruits and¬†vegetables¬†from the grocery store… which is getting pricey! ¬†When we got to the Market I was¬†surprised¬†at how much its grown since the last time I visited!

Yummmm, I LOVE when my baskets are full of colorful fruits and veggies!
